About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our cybersecurity organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving national and international sales efforts, focusing on positioning penetration testing, red team engagements, and solution sales to prospective clients. Your strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to build strong relationships will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive national and international sales of our cybersecurity services and solutions, with a primary focus on penetration testing, red team engagements, and solution sales.
Identify and engage with key decision-makers, C-level executives, and stakeholders in target industries and organizations to understand their cybersecurity challenges and position our services as effective solutions.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, conducting research and leveraging industry networks to identify and qualify potential clients.
Collaborate closely with the technical team to understand the capabilities of our penetration testing and red team services and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, conducting sales presentations, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and delivery, to align sales efforts with organizational goals and ensure smooth project handover.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven track record of successfully driving national and international sales in the cybersecurity industry, with experience in positioning penetration testing, red team engagements, and solution sales.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including penetration testing methodologies, red teaming, and industry compliance frameworks.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid network of contacts within the cybersecurity industry and proven experience building and maintaining client relationships.
Strategic thinker with a business-oriented mindset and a track record of identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and internal teams.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools for efficient pipeline management.
